Tom Mitchell, oldest brother of the Mitchell boys of this place, died at his home in Traer last Thursday after a lingering illness that covered a period of a year. The funeral was held in Traer Saturday, with Rev. Father Richards of that place officiating. Burial was made in the Grundy Center cemetery. He leaves to mourn a widow and mother, Mrs. Pat Mitchell, and four brothers, W. H., Martin, Dillon and Louie of this place and Frank of Salt Lake City, and one sister, Mrs. Chas. Castle of Britt.
