Mrs. Koht, Early Reinbeck Resident, Died Sunday
Mrs. G. R. Koht, who resided during her entire lifetime in Black Hawk township, died at her home in Reinbeck Sunday following an illness for nearly a year with an internal cancer. She would have been 60 years old next November. Before moving to Reinbeck she and her family for many years made their home on a farm a short distance north of town.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Reinbeck this afternoon. Officiating at the funeral were Rev. J. Q. Robinson from Gladbrook, a former Reinbeck pastor, and Rev. Galde, Methodist pastor at Reinbeck.
Mrs. Koht is survived by a son and a daughter. The son is Elliott, from Reinbeck. The daughter is Mrs. Doris Dubridge from St. Louis. There are three grandchildren. Other relatives are a sister, Mrs. Dan Campbell, and two brothers, W. H. White from this county and Fred White from Billings, Montana. Another brother, James White, died two weeks ago.
