Word was received by friends in Dike Sunday of the death of J. D. A. Bailey of New Hartford, who died that day after a long illness of heart disease. Funeral was at two o'clock Tuesday at the Methodist church in New Hartford and burial in the Dike cemetery. He is survived by the widow and two sons and one daughter of a previous marriage. Mr. Bailey was step-father of Mrs. Myrtle Larsen Mitchell, a former resident of Dike.
