Mrs. Nanno Andreessen nee Hessenius was born Feb. 16th, 1888, in Beaver township, Grundy county, and was united in marriage Dec. 12, 1917, with Nanno Andreessen. A son, Elmer, and a daughter, Verna, were born to this union. She died Feb. 17, 1932, at the age of 44 years and 1 day. Those that mourn her untimely death are her six brothers, Henry, John, Dick, Ned, Casper and Ben, and other relatives. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hagen Hessenius, and one infant sister preceded her in death.
