Maynor Alen Tranbarger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morrison Tranbarger, was born at Conrad, Iowa, Sept. 29, 1927, and died, after an illness of one week, Feb. 4, 1932, at the age of 4 years, 4 months and 5 days, at his home a short distance south of Conrad.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family at this time of sorrow and loss. Many expressions of sympathy have been received by the family, which are much appreciated.

Maynor had a sweet disposition which drew everyone to him. He carried the children of the home along with him in play and in the affections of a loving heart. He was much beloved by the teachers and members of his Sunday school class. He often spoke of his teachers, and his affection for them is their exceeding great reward. He had been a member of the Sunday school from his birth when his name was recorded on the cradle roll. For more than a year he had been a member of the beginners' department. We shall miss his sweet face and voice. He had a bright mind and abilities of rare promise.

There remain to mourn his departure and to cherish his memory, besides his parents, two sisters; Dormalce Frances and Shirley Jeanne, one brother, J. T., his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lister, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Tranbarger, his great-grandfather, Mrs. J. T. Morrison, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Conrad Saturday afternoon, Feb. 6, Rev. C. K. Hudson, pastor of the church, officiating. The burial was in the Conrad cemetery.
