Mrs. Wm. Schroeder Dies From Blood Clot

Was Taken Sick at 5 O'clock Saturday and Died Within an Hour

Mrs. Wm. Schroeder died at her home a mile north of Grundy Saturday at six o'clock in the evening from a blood clot in one lung. She was taken sick at five o'clock and she passed away an hour later. Only a short time ago she fell as she was going down the basement at her home and broke a knee cap. Since that time one leg was in a cast and she got about the house in a wheel chair. She was seated in this chair when she was taken suddenly ill.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Reinbeck Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in the cemetery at Reinbeck.

Mrs. Schroeder was 38 years old the 22nd of last May. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Thede of Reinbeck. She was born on a farm in Tama county. The Schroeder family moved to the Wilson farm north of Grundy Center last March. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her husband, a twelve year old daughter, her father and mother, two brothers and one sister.
