Northeast Grundy Resident Dies Sunday

Eric Thuesen Dies At Home East of Dike of Heart Attack

Eric Thuesen, an early resident of Grundy county died at his home five miles east of Dike Sunday afternoon from heart disease.

Mr. Thuesen was born in Haderslev, Denmark, March 7, 1857, and came to the United States in 1873. In 1875 he moved to Grundy county where he had made his home since. In 1884 he was married to Christine Jorgensen. Mrs. Thuesen died Nov. 14, 1919.

He is survived by eight children, Jens, Harry, George, Theodore, Alfred, Agnes and Esther Thuesen, all living in this vicinity, and Mrs. Dora Bonnicksen, of Ringsted, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Fredsville church with Rev. H. Stockholm officiating. Burial was in the family plot at Fredsville cemetery.
