Pioneer Reinbeck Woman Dies AT Soldiers' Home

Fanny J. Hamilton of Reinbeck died Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the hospital in the Soldiers' home at Marshalltown. She was 92 years old. She had suffered in recent years from feebleness due to advancing years and had spent most of her time in her room or the hospital parlors.

The funeral was held at the F. B. Gange funeral parlor at Reinbeck Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. H. W. Artman of the Methodist Episcopal church was in charge.

Mrs. Hamilton was the last member of her father's family, whose home was at Richford, Vt. Her only near relatives in this section are three nephews: Jesse N. Lewis, Reinbeck; Ray M. Lewis, Waterloo, and Harold D. Lewis, Mitchell, S. D. She has a step-son, Burt Hamilton, who lives in Colorado.

She was one of the pioneers of the town of Reinbeck, coming here with her husband from their home in Vermont in the early days of the town and residing there until she moved to the Soldiers' Home.
