Former Grundy Woman Died At Oakdale Sanitarium

Mrs. John Schultz died in the sanitarium at Oakdale last Thursday night. She was afflicted with tuberculosis. Her remains were taken to her home at Waterloo Friday. Funeral services were held there Sunday morning. The body was brought to Grundy Center for burial. Rev. J. B. Bird, pastor of the Methodist church at Grundy Center, conducted the service at the grave.

The Schultz family lived on a farm in Grundy county for several years and later moved to Grundy Center. They left here for Waterloo three years ago.

Mrs. Schultz was 43 years old. She is survived by her husband and three children. The children are Mrs. Gladys Crookshank from Texas and Orville and Goldie who live at home. One daughter, Lucille, died two years ago and she was buried in Grundy Center.
