Mrs. Harm Buskohl, Former Grundy Woman, Is Dead

Mrs. Harm Buskohl, for many years a resident of Grundy county, died at her home in Parkersburg last Wednesday. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Christian Reformed church with Rev. Westenberg in charge. Burial was in the cemetery of the West Friesland church near Ackley.

Grace Ackerman was born in Neimouer, Ostfriesland, Germany, March 12, 1845. She came to America in 1867, settling in Ogle county, Ill., where she was married to Wessel Buskohl Feb. 5, 1870. They celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary last February.

They came to Grundy county in March, following their marriage, and lived here until 1904, when they came to Parkersburg.

Six children were born to them. One son died in infancy, and one son died in 1901 at the age of 27. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Simon Peters, Parkersburg; Mrs. Fred Stukkenberg, Aplington; and Miss Nettie at home, and one son Harm at home. She is also survived by her husband, who is 91 years old, and one sister, Mrs. D. Miller, of Ackley.

She united with the Westfriesland Presbyterian church near Ackley Sept. 24, 1882, and was transferred to the Parkersburg Christian Reformed church Feb. 27, 1910.
