Grundy Man Dies At Rochester Hospital

Peter Thomsen Dies Following Operation

Funeral At Reinbeck Yesterday

Peter Thomsen living in the southern part of this county died at the hospital at Rochester Monday evening following an operation. Fu- from this that he went to Rochester yesterday and interment was made there [sic].

Mr. Thomsen had a severe case of pleurisy and it was to get relief from this that he went to Rochester for an operation.

Mr. Thomsen was for many years a resident of Grundy county. He was a successful farmer and was a man who was held in high esteem by all who knew him. The deceased is survived by a wife and five small children. The family have the sympathy of all who know them in their affliction.
