Peter Okken Dead

Peter Okken an old settler and well known Felix township farmer passed away at his home --unreadable-- Wednesday evening, after a long illness.

In the past three months he had suffered two mild strokes of paralysis that made his condition critical for sometime.

Mr. Okken was 72 years of age. He is survived by six children: Mrs. Herman Holl, Mrs. J. F. Weatherly, Mrs. L. Holl, Mrs. Sidney Green and Ernest and Florence Okken who are at home. Funeral service were held at the home Saturday at 10 o'clock. Interment at Alice, Rev. Hiltebridle had charge of the funeral services.--Conrad Record

Mr. Okken had been a resident of Grundy county for thirty-eight years and during all of that time he resided on the same farm.
