Death Closes Life Of Esteemed Woman

Mrs. Baasch Dies At Her Home

Funeral Is Largely Attended

Mrs. P. Baasch died at her home near Alice at 7:30 Saturday morning. She was sick several months. About two months ago she submitted to an operation at Iowa City for gall stones and appendicitis and for several weeks following the operation the family had good hopes that she would get well. She was troubled also with enlargement of the heart and this was the cause of her death. Mrs. Baasch's funeral was held at Alice church Monday afternoon. The resident pastor was unable to officiate and Rev. F. E. Hamlin had charge of the funeral services. Every seat in the large church was filled during the services.
