Kenneth L. Reisinger, 80, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Monday, October 8, 2007, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck, of natural causes. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007, from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at French Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck, Iowa, with Pastor Randy McGrady Beach officiating. Following cremation, private family graveside services will be held at the Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Kenneth Le Roy Reisinger, was born August 4, 1927, in Reinbeck, Iowa, the son of Le Roy and Mary (Neilsen) Reisinger. Kenneth received his education in Reinbeck. On October 10, 1945, Kenneth was inducted into the United States Army, serving his country until he was honorably discharged on December 14, 1946. On November 15, 1948, Kenneth was united in marriage to El Vera Pratt in Michigan. After their marriage, they moved to Waterloo, living there until 1964, when they made their home in Reinbeck. He owned Ken Reisinger Signs for fifty years, in both Waterloo and Reinbeck, and he also worked for Titus Manufacturing in Waterloo for nineteen years.
He is survived by his wife El Vera Reisinger of Reinbeck, Iowa; three sons- Randy Reisinger and his wife Sherianda of Sun Valley, Nevada; Jeffrey Reisinger and his wife Rhonda of Aplington, Iowa; Kevin Reisinger of Reinbeck, Iowa; one daughter-Sandy Sackett and her husband Jim of Reinbeck, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law Sondra Reisinger of Sommerfelt, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers-Wilbur, Gordon, and Dick Reisinger.
