Former Beaman Resident Dead

The body of Mrs. Wells was brought here for burial last Wednesday. Mrs. Wells was the mother of Mrs. Will Bowers and a former resident of these parts. She did a great deal of nursing around Beaman and Conrad during the flu epidemic.

Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. Bowers, whose home is in California, and who was unable to be present at the funeral. Other relatives who were present were Mr. Ralston of Conrad, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bowers of Liscomb and Cornelius Bowers of Liscomb. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. G. W. McMichael. Burial was made in the Oakland cemetery beside her husband, who died eleven years ago. Pallbearers were Herman Bein, E. G. Elliot, Rudolph Untiedt, and D. B. Simms.

Mrs. Wells had been suffering from high blood pressure for some time and her death was caused by apoplexy. She died at her home in Minneapolis.
