Renke Hinrichs Dead Following Paralytic Stroke

Renke Hinrichs, who had been in poor health for the past few years, was taken sick and suffered a stroke last Thursday evening, passing away a few hours later at 1:30 Friday morning at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 23 days.

He was born December 23, 1869, in Drybull, Holland. He came to this country 47 years ago, settling in Kanawha and working on a farm. In 1911 he married Miss Ella Etzen in Grundy county, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Etzen. To this union were born two children, one a girl, dead at birth, and the other a boy, who lived to the age of 8 months.

Funeral services were held from Salem Lutheran church with burial in the Lutheran cemetery, Rev. Paulson in charge of the services, which were at 1:00 o'clock from the home in Stout and 1:30 from the church.
