Funeral services of Serenius Henningsen of Cedar Falls were held at the Fredsville church Friday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. Stockholm.

Mr. Henningsen is survived by his wife, mother, Mrs. Christina Henningsen of Dike, daughter, Mrs. Blanche Johnson of Janesville, son, Glen, of Cedar Falls, and four brothers, Pete, Carl, Juluis of Dike, and Hans of Chicago, and three sisters, Mrs. Helena Falk of Chicago, and Mrs. Esther Gotke of Brownsville, Texas.

Obituary S. Henningsen

Senius Henningsen died at the St. Francis hospital, Waterloo, last Wednesday after an illness covering a period of two years. Funeral services were held at the family home in Cedar Falls Friday afternoon and later at the Fredsville church where burial was made. The services were conducted by Rev. Stockholm.

Mr. Henningsen was born in Grundy county on October 20, 1881, and resided near Dike for several hears, when he moved to a farm near Janesville, where he resided until he retired to Cedar Falls last March. He leaves to mourn his taking his mother, Mrs. Christian Henningsen of Dike, his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Johnson of Janesville, and one son, Glenn, of Cedar Falls; four brothers, Peter J., Carl M., and Julius of Dike, and Hans Henningsen of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Helena Falk of Chicago; Mrs. Esther Gotke of Brownsville, Texas, and Mrs. Anna Struntze of Dike.
