Child Dies of Scalds

Beverly Jean only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob J. Mulder, of Reinbeck, died Sunday afternoon from the effects of scalding.

The child fell into a pan of scalding water last Friday afternoon which her mother had just placed on the floor preparatory to cleaning the floor.

Beverly Jean was born in Reinbeck April 29, 1927,and was 20 months and 20 days old when she died. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the home and burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.
