Mrs. Wade Overstreet Died On Christmas at Hospital

Mrs. Wade Overstreet, who with her husband, made their home in Grundy Center for several years until about three years ago, died at the Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo Christmas night at 7:15. Death was due to pneumonia and infection of the blood stream.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:15 in the Congregational church at Parkersburg. Burial will be made in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Overstreet, the former Henrietta DeVries, was about 46 years old at the time of her death. She was a daughter of Mrs. Tressa Rand of Parkersburg. After they left there they made their home at Reinbeck for a short time and recently had been residing at Aplington.

The deceased is survived by her husband, her mother, two brothers, Thile and George DeVries of Parkersburg and two half-sisters, Minnie and Manda Rand.
