Mrs. A. Posekany Died Sunday

Mrs. A. D. Posekany, age 74, died at her home in Dike Sunday morning at 9:20 following a stroke. She suffered a severe stroke in September, 1948, and has been bedfast since.

Clara Long was born Sept. 15, 1876, at Chariton, Ia., and was married to A. D. Posekany of Dike Oct. 15, 1938, at Chariton. They have made their home in Dike since.

She leaves besides her husband, one brother, Frank Long of Milo, Ia., and two sisters, Mrs. Emanuel Vie of Nome, N.D., and Mrs. Roy Shafer of Kentire, N.D., besides several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Dike Methodist church, Dike Rebekah Lodge, Encampment Auxiliary and Lady Militant of Cedar Falls.

Funeral services will be held at the Dike Methodist church, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. L. J. Runion officiating, and services in charge of the Rebekah Lodge. Burial will be at Elmwood cemetery in Dike.
