Harry Clift Died In Cedar Falls

Harry Clift, a lifelong resident of Grundy Center, died at the Christie Convalescent Home in Cedar Falls last Friday. He had been in failing health several months. He would have been 67 years old on his next birthday. He was taken to the convalescent home two weeks before his death. He suffered a stroke last July from which he did not fully recover.

Harry Clift was born in Grundy Center, April 18, 1883, the son of John and Elizabeth Clift. He made his home with his parents until their death, and for the past 2 1/2 years had been cared for by his sister, Mrs. Emma Gourley, at the home place.

Harry Clift is survived by his sister, Mrs. Emma Gourley, and three nieces, Eileen, Catherine and Jeanette.

Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Coffman & Ferree funeral home. Rev. Green conducting them. Burial was made at the Grundy Center cemetery.
