Miss Mattie Kruse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kruse, of Colfax township, died last Sunday from inflammation of the bowels. The deceased was sixteen years old. She was sick only five days. Funeral services were held at the VanderLas church Wednesday, Revs. VanderLas and Schutz officiating.
