The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Sienknecht was in the Congregational church at Reinbeck Thursday afternoon of last week. Mrs. Sienknecht died in a hospital in Iowa City after years of illness from arthritis deformans, a painful form of rheumatism. The last few years she had made her home with her mother, Mrs. Detleft Lorenze, Reinbeck. She was born in November, 1886, on a farm near Lincoln and was married on March 8, 1911, to John Sienknecht. Three children were born all surviving her, Lawrence, Violellta and Ada. Her brothers, Christian and Albert near Lincoln, and Charles, Morrison survive.
