Nicole "Nikki" Weltha, 38, of Reinbeck, IA passed away on Friday, March 18th at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo due to complications from a 25 year struggle with addiction. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck with Pastor Terry Plocher officiating. Interment will be private.

Nikki was born on February 18, 1973 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Dennis & Dorothy (Aswegan) Weltha. She grew up in Marion with her two sisters and graduated from Marion High School in 1991. Nikki traveled all over Iowa and around the country. She worked at various places throughout Cedar Rapids and Iowa City and was most recently employed at the Isle Casino in Waterloo. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

She is survived by her mother Dorothy Weltha of Reinbeck; sisters Donna Hageman of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tracy (Daniel) Howe of Camdenton, MO; nieces and nephew Morgan & Ambur Hageman and Abigail, Addison, Thomas & Rhianna Howe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Weltha.
