Pamela Billerbeck, 50 of Holland, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa while under the care of Hospice. Memorial Services will be Friday, March 9, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Engelkes – Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Engelkes – Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to Pam's family.

Pamela Kay was born March 14, 1961, in Grundy Center, Iowa the daughter of William and Donna (Wical) Getting. She grew up in Holland and attended schools in Grundy Center graduating with the class of 1979. After graduation she attended college for 2 years for a Vet Tech. Pam loved animals and had a strong passion for racing and anything with a motor. She was a hard worker and was always full of energy. Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Kassie Billerbeck of Arlington, IA; her parents, Donna Palmer of Grundy Center, William Getting of Eldora; brothers, Kyle (Kelly) Kruse of Holland, Kurt (Jennifer) Kruse of Fonda, IA and Bobby (Doreen) Getting of Grundy Center and Gerke Getting; many nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Mary Wical, John and Milda Getting and baby brother, Cory.
