Funeral of Charles E. Geiter

The funeral services of Charles E. Geiter of Felton, Minn., were conducted at the home of his brother, Ralph Geiter, on Monday afternoon, July 7th, the Rev. Mr. Woodall of the Methodist church officiating.

Mr. Geiter died very suddenly at his home on a farm near Felton, Minn., on July 2nd, and the remains were brought to Grundy Center, his former home, for burial on Monday.

Charles Edwin Geiter was born on the 31st day of October, 1869, at Rock Grove, Stephenson county, Illinois. He died on July 2nd, near Felton, Minn., aged 54 years, 9 months and 2 days.

In the spring of 1870 his parents with their family moved to Grundy county, Iowa, where his boyhood and young manhood was spent. While a young man, during revival services at the Alice church, he was converted. About twenty years ago he moved to Clay county, Minn., where he resided until his death. All who knew him loved and respected him.

Two sisters and three brothers survive him, who with many friends mourn their loss.

Interment was made in the family plot at Pleasant Valley Evangelical cemetery west of Fern.
