Death of J. J. Thuesen

J. J. Thuesen, for many years a resident of Fairfield township, passed away at his home in Cedar Falls the first of the week, aged 75 years.

Mr. Thuesen came to this county from Denmark fifty-four years ago and has lived the greater part of these years in northwest Grundy county. About eight years ago he retired from the farm and moved to Cedar Falls. His wife died about three years ago.

One daughter, Dora, is a member of the Teachers' College faculty, and a son, James, lives on the home place.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Lutheran church at Fredsville.
