Mrs. Harry Horner Dies of Pneumonia

Mrs. Harry Horner, living a mile and a half south of Dike, died last Sunday following a short illness with pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the home yesterday. Interment was held in the cemetery at Dike.

Mrs. Horner was about fifty years old. She lived in the northeast part of the county for many years.

The husband, two daughters and one son survive the deceased.

Mrs. Harry Horner

Mrs. Alvina Koch Horner was born April 27, 1871, in Cook county, Illinois. She died Sunday, Jan. 6, 1924, at the age of 52 years, 8 months and 10 days. Funeral services were conducted at the home and at the Dike M.E. church by Rev. Gross of the Blackhawk church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one son, Harlan, two daughters, Mrs. Irene Ford and Mrs. Leona Frasher, all of Dike, her aged mother, Mrs. Koch, three brothers, Will and Theodore Koch of Dike and Herman of Britt, and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Hoerman, of Union Star, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Dubbert, of Dike.
