The funeral of Harmka Bakker, who died at Glenwood, Ia., was held at the Bode church Monday afternoon. She was born the 25th of August, 1898, and died Sept. 8, 1923. She reached an age of 25 years and 14 days. She leaves to mourn three brothers, John, Peter and Harm, and three sisters, Mary, (Mrs. B Eiten) Anna and Minnie. The pall bearers were John and Peter Ruter, Andrew Janssen, and Henry Eekhoff. Rev. H. C. Bode officiated.
