Last Tuesday evening at about 11:00 o'clock, at his home west of town, Aaron Pipher passed away. He suffered a stroke of paralysis about three weeks ago, his second came about a week ago and his physical condition became too weak and the resistance gave way to the third one that he suffered previous to his death. He was a man about 60 years of age and had spent the greater part of his life near here.

He leaves to mourn his loss three brothers and two sisters, a host of relatives and friends. the brothers are: Frank, of near Dike, this county; Zach and Jake on the farm, Mrs. Ella Coulter and Mrs. Emma Alexander of this city.

Aaron Daniel Pipher, son of George and Kathryn Pipher, was born in Ogle county, Ill., July 24th, 1862[sic], and departed this life at his home near Conrad, May 22nd, 1923, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 28 days.

He came to Iowa about 50 years ago and has spent about 50 years of his life near here.
