Helen Gier Clifford Buried Here Monday

Mrs. Robert Clifford, 65, the former Helen Gier, passed away Thursday at her home in St. Louis, Missouri. Services were held there Sunday.

The body was cremated and sent to Conrad for burial at 3 p.m. Monday at the Conrad cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by Rev. R. O. Grote.

Among her survivors are her widower, two daughters, a grandchild, and 5 brothers and 6 sisters. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gier of Conrad.

Her surviving sisters are Lucille, Irene, Adeline, Alice, Lois and Elaine and brothers, Phil (Conrad) Eugene, Irven, Charles and John Jr.

Out of town relatives attending were: Robert Clifford, St. Louis, Mo. and daughters Miss Carolyn Clifford, Mrs. William Mal Kiel of San Francisco, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. John R. Gier, Hudson, Ohio, Mrs. Rosalind Ayers, Adeline and John, Arlington, Virginia, Mrs. Adeline Gier Smith, Washington D.C., Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Graaff, Mr. and Mrs. William Trisell, all of Des Moines, Mrs. Karl Jorde, Mrs. Ben Murray, Osage, Dan Keim Walter, Okla.

Following the service lunch was served in the Helen Gould home by friends of the family.
