Funeral Services Mrs. Joe Boyenga To be Held Friday

Mrs. Joe Boyenga passed away Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Geo. Alberts in Austinville, where she had been cared for for the past ten months. She had been in failing health for a long time.

Minnie R. Boyenga was born southwest of Ackley January 11, 1889, and has always lived in this vicinity. She and Mr. Boyenga were married March 12, 1908, and since their marriage have lived on a farm seven miles south of Ackley.

Mrs. Boyenga for many years has been a member of the East Friesland Presbyterian church.

Surviving her are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. A. H. Jaspers of Steamboat Rock, a son, Joy Boyenga of Cedar Falls; two grandsons, two granddaughters; two brothers, Ubbe and Paul Heetland, who live south of Ackley, and a half-brother, Chris Freese, of Ackley.

Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. C. E. Siemsen, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the East Friesland church.
