Mrs. DeNeui Dies at Hospital

Mrs. James DeNeui died at Ellsworth hospital, Iowa Falls, on Wednesday, June 4th, following an operation several days before. Mrs. DeNeui seemed to be recovering satisfactorily from the operations, but four days before her death her condition took a turn for the worse and it continued that way until the end came.

The remains were brought to Wellsburg Wednesday afternoon and taken to her home.

Funeral services took place at the home Saturday afternoon and later at the church. Interment was made in the family lot at Wellsburg.

Mrs. DeNeui was born in Grundy county and resided here all of her life. Her maiden name was Miss Ada Geiken. She was married eight years ago to James DeNeui. Since that time she has been living within the vicinity of Wellsburg where she was held in the very highest esteem by all who knew her. Mrs. DeNeui is survived by her husband and her seven year-old son.
