End Comes For Mrs. George Loots At Hospital

Funeral services for Mrs. George Loots were held at the Reformed church at Wellsburg Saturday afternoon following a brief service at the home four miles south of Wellsburg. The services were conducted by the local pastor, Rev. Wm. Landsiedel. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Loots died at the hospital at Marshalltown last Tuesday following an operation for gall stones to which she submitted the day before. She was taken to the hospital on Saturday previous to the operation.

Mrs. Neessen was 52 years old. Her maiden name was Lettie Neessen. She was born in Colfax township 52 years ago and resided in this locality all of her life. She was married about 30 years ago to George Loots. There are no children.

Surviving are the husband and two sisters. The sisters are Mrs. Bus Venenga and Mrs. Fred Terfehn.
