The two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Johnson was drowned in the water tank. The child had been playing around the tank and in some manner which is not known it fell in. It was still alive when found by its mother but before neighbors and medical assistance could arrive his life had gone out. Everything was done to restore him but without success. Funeral services were held Saturday at Rev. Henrichs church near Wellsburg where the corpse was laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church.
