Mrs. Adam Schuck Died at Reinbeck

Mrs. Adam Schuck, a longtime resident of Parkersburg and vicinity, died Friday at the home of her niece, Mrs. Louis Schmidt, at Reinbeck. Death followed a stroke of paralysis a few weeks before. She was 83 years old.

Mrs. Schuck was an early resident of Pleasant Valley township, but she and her family moved from the farm to Parkersburg over fifty years ago. Her husband died in 1900.

Funeral services were held at the French funeral home in Reinbeck Monday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Krog, pastor of the Lutheran church. Burial was by the side of the husband in the cemetery adjoining Shiloh township Lutheran church.

Mrs. Schuck was a native of Germany. She was born Dec. 6th, 1861. At the age of 23 she came to America. In 1885 she was married to Adam Schuck and the couple began housekeeping on a Pleasant Valley township farm.
