Funeral services for John Henry Fink, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fink, were held Friday afternoon at the Lutheran church and were in charge of the Rev. C. Heinrich. The German sermon was preached by the Rev. Heinrich, and the service in English was by Rev. Arthur Huneke, who is a candidate for the ministry of the Lutheran church.

Obituary
John Henry Fink, son of John Fink and Katie Harms Fink, was born Nov. 12, 1913. He was baptized Feb. 1, 1914, and attended the confirmation class and was confirmed on March 29, 1931. He was a faithful son to his parents and a loving companion to his brothers and sisters and friends.

Since the beginning of this year his health failed gradually. His recovery was hoped for, but the doctor's care could not restore his health. God had decided to take this young life from his suffering and establish it in a better life. He has taken him to Himself after he had prepared for this last journey by partaking of the Lord's supper. His belief in the precious blood from Jesus Christ, which cleanses us from all sin, held him fast in faith to God until the end. May the parents, brothers and sisters say with Job, "The Lord hath given and the Lord hath taken, blessed be the name of the Lord."

He died May 19 at 9 o'clock in the morning at the age of 22 years, 6 months and 7 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother and father and two brothers and six sisters, as well as many other relatives and friends.
