Floreine K. Ellingson, passed away on Saturday, May 30, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo at the age of 71.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 2, at 10:30 a.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls with Rev. David Doely officiating. Interment was in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Pallbearers were Jeff Wieland, Chad Ellingson-Munson, Jeremy Ellingson, Scott Wieland, Ryan Ellingson and Beau Ellingson. Honorary pallbearer was Carson Ellingson.

Floreine was born April 16, 1927, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the daughter of Orville C. and Elsie (Schieffelbein) King. She married Alton E. Ellingson on June 5, 1946, in Nashua. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1982.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Ron of Wellsburg and Rick of Waterloo; her 2 daughters, Denise Wieland of Carroll and Deidra F. Hippen of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren, Jeff, Michelle, Scott, Jeremy, Cathy, Chad, Ryan, Chelsea, Beau, Carson, Koby and Haley; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyson, Tyler and Phillip; a brother, Rev. Orville King of Murfressboro, Tennessee; and a sister, Mary Emma Miller of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Floreine was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Keith; and a daughter, Diedra E. Ellingson.
