Taleus J. Aswegan Died at Parkersb'g

Taleus J. Aswegan died Thursday forenoon at the home of his brother, Joe H. von Aswege, in Parkersburg. He had been in failing health a long time. He was 63 years old.

He was born in Beaver township in October 1897, and lived there all of his life except during his late illness during which time he was taken care of at the home of his brother. He never married. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Aswegan. He operated a farm 2 1/2 miles west of Stout and kept house by himself.

The body was taken to the Engelkes funeral home in Parkersburg where it was prepared for burial. Services were Monday afternoon at the Salem Lutheran church in Beaver township. Rev. Alfred Schumm officiated at the service. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Surviving are the brother Joe; one sister, Mrs. Onno Meyer, Cedar Falls; two half-brothers, Carl from Stout and John from Bristow.
