Dolores L. Kruse, 76, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., formally of Sioux City, died March 3, 2008. Funeral services was held on March 8 at Community Presbyterian Church in Lake Havasu City and on March 15 at Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City. Memorials may be directed to Camp High Hopes, 2504 South Cypress Street, Sioux City, Iowa 51106. Committal will be at a later date at Colfax Center Cemetery.

She was born in Dunedin, Fla. on February 9, 1932. She married James Kruse on June 18, 1950 and they resided in Grundy Center until 1969 at which time they relocated to Sioux City. She was with Avon Products over 30 years and was the Avon Manager of Woodbury County for 26 years until her retirement. She was a member of Morningside Reformed Church, Quota Club and many other community organizations.

She is survived by her husband, James; son, Dr. Mark Kruse and Valorie of Sioux City; daughters, Gail Zastrow of Elkhorn, Neb. and Dr. Ruthann Kruse-Hargraves and Wallace of Cave Creek; eight loving grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, James L. Kruse; and son-in-law, Donald Zastrow.
