Mrs. Murra died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Berends last Sunday. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Hoefker were held in the Wellsburg church Wednesday afternoon. Interment was made in the Wellsburg cemetery. Mrs. Murra was 73 years old. She was born in Ostfriesland, Germany and she came to this country in 1864. She lived in Illinois a year after which she came to Grundy county where she resided continually up to the time of her death. Mrs. Murra was married in 1868. Her husband died about six years ago. Four children was born to this union, one died in infancy and another, Mrs. John Loger died several years ago. The two surviving children are Mrs. Henry Berends and Mrs. John Loger. Mrs. Murra had been suffering the past five years with a cancer which caused her death.
