Funeral On Mon. For Pearl Tjaden

Private funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Doyen Funeral home here for Miss Pearl Tjaden, 58. Rev. Carl Toeset was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Wellsburg Reformed Church cemetery.

Miss Tjaden passed away early Saturday morning in the Reiner's Nursing Home at Dumont. Death was attributed to pneumonia.

She was born April 25, 1903, at Wellsburg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tjaden. She had been an invalid all her life.

Pall bearers were John O. Tjaden, Mayo Tjaden, Woodrow Lindaman, Kenneth Dilly, John T. Riekena and Glen Peters. Special music for the service was furnished by Mrs. Clarence Beecroft.

Survivors include two brothers and three sisters, Otta and Meint, both of Wellsburg; Mrs. Ben Peters and Mrs. Albert W. Meyer, Wellsburg; and Mrs. Shirley Dilly, Aplington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
