Lydia Lutterman, 99, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home died there Friday, January 18, 2008.

She was born April 7, 1908, in Fern, Iowa, the daughter of Cornelius and Grace (Meyer) Haack. She married Alfred Lutterman September 6, 1927, in Wellsburg, Iowa. He died May 1, 1944. She was a caregiver and babysitter for 30 years.

Survived by her daughter, Beverly Bach of Sun City, AZ and special niece, Bonnie Turner of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her two grandsons, Robert and David Brower; one brother, Ernest Haack; and three sisters, Bilda Weber, Gladyse Vollenweider, and Ivadean Lutz.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with interment in the Wellsburg Reformed Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the Lutheran Home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Lydia Lutterman, 99, of Cedar Falls died at the Lutherman Home on January 18, 2008. Funeral services were January 23 at Cedar Falls. Burial was in the Wellsburg Reformed Church cemetery.
