Norma Mae Miller, 82, of Ackley passed away on Wednesday, March 21 at Presbyterian Village in Ackley.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 24 at Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. Rev. Bruce Bailey officiated with burial in Shiloh Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Norma was born April 10, 1918, in Watertown, South Dakota, the daughter of Cecil J. and Blanch (Seavey) Filer. She was united in marriage to Arthur H. Miller on November 30, 1939. She owned/operated Buck Grove Produce and Wellsburg Produce for many years with her husband and worked at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley.

She was a 1935 graduate of Wellsburg High School. She enjoyed reading and spending time crocheting and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her parents; a daughter, Ruth Beverly Miller; and one sister, Doris Brown.

Survivors include five sons, David (Joan) of Cedar Falls, Stanley (Phyllis) of Platte City, MO, Mark of Washington, DC, Scott (Karen) of Kansas City, MO and Dan (Vicky) of Overland Park, KS and one daughter, Virginia McClelland (Duane) of California; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Audrey Zech of Des Moines; and three sisters-in-law, Leola Abels of Holland, Miriam Miller of Ackley, and Muriel DeVries of Ackley.
