Robert J. Lutterman Services Held

Robert J. Lutterman of Antioch, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 1996, at the Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois, at the age of 66 years.

Funeral services were held at the Strang Funeral Home in Antioch on Monday, August 5, 1996, with military services just prior to services conducted by the American Legion Post #748. Funeral services were also held at the Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg, Iowa, on Wednesday, August 7, 1996, with the Reverend Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery in Wellsburg. A memorial fund has been established.

Robert was born on September 28, 1929, in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of Dr. Eldridge and Ruth (Wachs) Lutterman. He was a life long resident of Antioch. He graduated from Kemper Military School in Booneville, Missouri, and Roosevelt University in Chicago. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #748 in Antioch and AARP. He retired in 1985 from OMC in Waukegan after 17 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two beloved friends, Juanita Starns and Patricia Sartin, both of Antioch; his life long friend, Ron Barron of Antioch; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the local arrangements.
