Thressa J. Heronimus, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Holland.

Casket bearers were Mark Creery, Troy Creery, David Creery, Shawn Creery, Ryan Creery and Mark Hasek.

She was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Cylinder, IA, the daughter of John and Anna Gjerde Gunn. She married Lloyd M. Creery on May 15, 1940, in Algona. They later divorced. She married Harold D. Heronimus Aug. 15, 1959, in Leroy, MN. He died in August, 1969.

She is survived by three sons, Gary L. Creery of Grundy Center, Robert J. Creery of Clayton and John "Jack" Creery of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Gunn of St. Cloud, MN; and a step-daughter, Pam Hilliard of Chandler, AZ.
