With sad hearts we hereby bring the message to all relatives and acquaintances that it has pleased God according to His all knowing counsel after a long illness and faith in Jesus Christ to take our loved wife, mother and grandmother, Elisabeth Knock, born Brügmann unto Himself into His kingdom.

Even if the faith was weak at times, then she had the hope of always looking to what He promised: “For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.”

Her earthly shell was handed over to the bosom of the earth on the 14th of February. Pastor B. vander Las from the congregation of whom she was a member conducted the funeral message from the words of 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 & 14.

The deceased was born at Tergast, District of Emden, Ostfriesland on the 20th of December 1826 and died on the 10th of February 1891. She reached the age of 62 years, 1 month and 21 days.
