Barbara Dimke Dies In Des Moines

Barbara Fritzel Dimke, 49, died Friday, March 20, at a hospital in Des Moines. She had been a diabetic for many years.

Memorial services were held Tuesday in Des Moines. The body was cremated and the cremains will be interred in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Barbara was the daughter of Melvin and Lilyan Arends Fritzel. She graduated from the Grundy Center high school in 1955.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Lilyan; a daughter, Lisa Meggison, granddaughter Tara, of Des Moines, and a brother, Dr. John Fritzel of Des Moines.
