Paul Yeager, Former Mail Carrier, Dies

Paul Yeager, who was a mail carrier in Grundy Center for many years until retirement, died this month at Bradenton, FL from cancer. Memorial services were held last Monday.

Paul graduated from the Grundy Center high school in 1921, and shortly thereafter he became a mail carrier for the Grundy Center Post Office. Paul and Ruby moved to Florida after his retirement. They observed their golden wedding anniversary January 19. 1974.

Paul is survived by his wife, Ruby, one daughter, Billie Jean VanWert and husband, Howard, and two grandchildren. His sister Florenece died in January, 1987.

Memorials may be given in his memory to the American Cancer Society.

Paul and Ruby visited friends in Grundy Center last September when they were enroute home from visiting his sister in Minnesota.
