Services Held Friday For Dena Conradi

Mrs. Dena Conradi of the Grundy Care Center and formerly of Dike passed away at 12:03 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Grundy Care Center, Grundy Center.

Funeral services were held at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, on Friday, May 22, at 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Geelhoed of the Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church officiated.

Taped musical selections were played for the prelude and postlude.

Graveside committal services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD. Rev. Otto Gehring officiated at the services.

Mrs. Conradi was born on December 2, 1895, in Beaver township, near Fern, the daughter of John and Hilka Roelsf Goldhorn. She attained the age of 91 years, five months and 18 days.

She was married to Cono Brower and he passed away in 1962. On December 2, 1966, she was united in marriage to William H. Conradi. After their marriage, they made their home in Dike. He passed away on January 24, 1980.

On April 21, 1980, she became a resident of Beverly Manor in Grundy Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Faye Stangland of Redding, CA; three step-daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Josephine) Bowers of Dike, Mrs. C. B (Rosella) Paige of Pequot Lake, MN, and Mrs. Jim (Gloria) Gerstenkorn of RR1, Dike; and by two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established.

The Englekes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
